Traveller Assist staff, standards, equipment and practices adhere to the highest possible professional and ethical standards in the assistance industry. Traveller Assist is built upon three core values. Our commitment to our people, our clients and the law.

Anti Corruption and Anti Bribery Statement
Traveller Assist is committed to conducting all of its business in an honest and ethical manner.

In accordance with the Bribery Act 2010 we operate governance by implementing and enforcing robust policies and procedures to guard against any illegal behaviour.

Traveller Assist acts openly in relation to all of its dealings with clients, colleagues, global providers and all third party contacts. Our company has a zero tolerance approach to any breach of the Bribery Act 2010 and any issues raised will be treated with the utmost importance.
Our staff, equipment and procedures complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and all relevant legislation and regulation in each jurisdiction that we operate in, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. We also operate a system of corporate governance and duty of care policies that comply with, and exceed PAS 3001:2016 standards.

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, sets the standard for protecting sensitive patient data. Any company that deals with protected health information (PHI) must ensure that all the required physical, network, and process security measures are in place and followed.

This includes covered entities (CE), anyone who provides treatment, payment and operations in healthcare, and business associates (BA), anyone with access to patient information and provides support in treatment, payment or operations.

As part of our due diligence practices, Traveller Assist ensures that all employees, subcontractors, and network providers are in compliance with HIPAA.

The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) makes it illegal for companies and their supervisors to influence foreign officials with any personal payments or rewards. The FCPA applies to any person who has a certain degree of connection to the United States and engages in foreign corrupt practices.

The Act also applies to any act by U.S. businesses, foreign corporations trading securities in the U.S., American nationals, citizens, and residents acting in furtherance of a foreign corrupt practice whether or not they are physically present in the U.S. This is considered the nationality principle of the act.

Traveller Assist complies with the FCPA.

> PAS 3001:2016

PAS 3001:2016 is a Code of Practice developed to give organisations a tool to help them protect their mobile workforce and themselves. As a company with employees who travel regularly, Traveller Assist complies with, and exceeds all PAS 3001:2016 recommendations.

Workers who travel face large and small risks, from incidents such as petty crime and falling ill to the threats of terrorist activity, natural disasters (earthquakes & tsunamis) and pandemics (Ebola & Zika). Employers have a duty of care responsibility to ensure the health, safety and welfare of their people.
